The Project
For one of my classes at Wesley (Digital Imaging) we had to design a patriotic poster that contains two images that fade together and a quote from either the national anthem or the pledge of allegiance. I used the image of two F-22 fighter jets and the American flag overtop of a texture of a picket fence to create the background and had the quote over the blue field of the flag.
Tools Used
The entire project was created in Adobe Photoshop.
Thoughts
Creating Overlays is interesting and can create some beautiful pieces, but I think I need more practice with it. I do love the texture I used in this image. Plus you can’t get much more American than a military fighter jet.
